The Weather Agent (theweatheragent.com) is a marine and weather information service. It turns weather and ocean data into plain-language reports you can act on.
By using this service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.
Weather and marine forecasts are predictions. They can be wrong, and conditions can change faster than any model updates. Do not use this service for navigation, or for any safety-of-life decision. Always verify with official sources (NOAA, the National Weather Service, local authorities) before you go out, and follow the judgment of the person at the helm.
Our reports carry a disclaimer for this reason. It isn't legal padding — it's the honest truth about what a forecast is.
A report reflects conditions as of the moment it was generated. Anything older than a day is labeled stale and must not be relied on as current. If you're making a decision that matters, generate a fresh report.
Some links in our reports are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission — at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate relationships never influence our data, reports, rankings, or recommendations. A recommendation is made on its own merits; an affiliate link, where one appears, is applied only after the fact.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reports will always be current.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service — including decisions made, or not made, based on a report. You use this service at your own risk.
Free access is rate-limited. We may adjust quotas to keep the service available to everyone. If you need higher limits, contact us.
We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these terms, misuse, or abuse of the service. If you close your account, we delete your reports as described in our Privacy Policy.
The reports are generated for your use, but the service, its data pipeline, and its output format remain ours. You get a right to use the reports you generate; you don't get a license to the underlying service or data.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The version date at the top tells you when it last changed. Material changes will be posted here.
